
I was genuinely pleased and proud to receive the message below from a member of staff. It reflects the compassion, professionalism and teamwork that our management and staff teams strive to show every day. I’m sharing it (with permission and with some details kept confidential) because it’s a great reminder that when we support our colleagues as people first, everyone benefits.

I would like to sincerely thank you for your consideration and support during my time of need. You made me feel like family rather than just an employee, and your understanding meant a great deal to me.
I also want to acknowledge how professionally and quickly my issue was handled. You treated it as an emergency and provided a solution promptly. Each one of you truly deserves appreciation for your kindness and support.
I would also like to let you know that I have settled in well at my new placement and I am looking forward to working there both day and night shifts. The staff team has been wonderful and they have welcomed me warmly.
Things at home are also improving. My family is more settled, and I am now able to manage school runs and important appointments, which was our main goal.
